12 hours of total exposure.

My project is to take 50 hours of light frames at this target (all 10 min each) and attempt to build an even better image in terms of B&W resolution and subtleties. I will also try various color palettes including SHO, but we will see. This is a fast and intense learning process for me as I only started astrophotography last March.

Calibration and pre-processing in APP, post processing in Affinity Photo.

Takahashi TSA-120 with 0.7x Reducer, ASI 2600MM Pro camera at -10C.

That is a really nice image!

Tbh I have never seen a color balance on this target that I thought was great at this framing.  Showing it in monochrome maybe is the answer.

Thank you very much Ryan! This image is part of a longer project, so I believe that the final image will show even more detail and subtleties.

Real nice image and processing.

Thank you, Jim. I have been paying super attention to all details along the way, from hardware to software, and the effort is worthwhile.
