Hello all! I’m new to this community but I’m very excited to be here. My grandfather came across an old Celestron telescope, but it only had a camera adapter, not an eyepiece holder or the eyepiece itself. We are looking specifically for an eyepiece holder, as we have not found anything that works with this model. I will post the chats of others that have helped me on Facebook - if anyone has anything for sale or knows where to get an eyepiece holder, please let us know!!

from a FB community:

“I found more info, took a little digging.  This is an 80's SP-C6 based on the Vixen R150s.  The adapter unscrews and you should be able to get a proper one for it.  Maybe ask on Cloudy Nights as someone may have spare parts for this mount.”

“that T-ring adapter unscrews from the focuser plate itself. I don't know if that assembly is actually 2 parts or if it's a specialized adapter for that telescope.”

“Looks like a old celeston comet catcher 140mm those did have Vixen optics and if it is that's a very collectable telescope.”

With the USA Vixen distributor now closed these are hard to get.  First link is the original eyepiece holder that will screw into the sled but without the extension.  Second is an extension that can be used.  Third is another holder that will also screw into the sled.
