There was a vintage Meade 300 for sale at another place. I remember the 310 and the 320, but did not remember the 300. So I googled it, and it is the longer F15 focal length. The picture of it looked just like the 320 and 310.

It did not last long at all, it went quick. But when I think about it, I would say that the 300 was the one in the older Meade ads, where the tubes were white, but the tube on this one was the original Meade blue.

Probably the Towa lens?confused1.gif

Those were imported by Meade in the 70's. They were Towa scopes.

It is the model Towa 339 re labeled by Meade. I've never seen a rebranded Towa 339 in any color besides white - except to that one.

If it had a black dew shield, it was from '72 to '76. After 8/76 they were advertising it with a white dew shield. White tubes on both versions.
