Has anyone tried to put an Orion StarSeeker on a wedge or a pier extension?

Is there any way to get the Orion StarSeeker with the SynScan or StarSense handcontroller (using the NexStar to SynScan adapter) to recognize an equatorial alignment?

What wedges or pier extensions might work for an Orion StarSeeker?

It looks like the Celestron StarSense handcontroller for the Orion StarSeeker might support an equatorial wedge alignment.  Has anyone tried this?  I don't know how to get a wedge for a StarSeeker though.  Celestron said that the NexStar SLT curved fork was not designed for wedge use, so I am guessing that the larger curved fork of the StarSeeker might actually be worse.  So might not be worth the risk of trying.

A pier extension though could help with using some longer refractors on the StarSeeker with an altazimuth alignment.  Not sure what pier extensions might be compatible though, if any.
