Hello all,

I have a newbie question. I have a Celestron SC8 and was wondering if I add a Celestron EQ Wedge will I:

  1. Be able to use the the go-to features of the SC8?
  2. Be able to use the Celestron Star Sense Auto Align Camera?

Thank you very much,

Ben

Hello. The Wedge is a tool designed to allow an Altitude-Azimuth Mount to move in such a way that long-exposure astrophotography is possible. It is simply I big hunk of metal! The ability to incorporate accessories like StarSense isn't related. Additionally, GoTo is a mount feature for some mounts. If you want to ask about the compatability of your devices, please provide more information, such as Mount model, Hand Controller version, etc...
