NGC 2371 + 2 (PK 189+19 1, PN G189.1+19.8 and others) is a planetary nebula located approximately 5068 light-years away in Gemini. At magnitude 13, it shows up as two objects visually – the reason for the two NGC numbers. This one is about three degrees from Castor.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10:8:8x300s – 50:40:40 minutes each – binned 2x2

370 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 10 minutes

Imaged November 13th, 14th, 15th, 29th and 30th, 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
