Aww...that little AT70 is adorable, especially with the Aston Martin grey trim.
It also has the same powder coat matte finish as my AT 125EDL and Altair 102f/11 ED. All Kunming scopes. Really nice high quality fit and finish.

Tog, I am using this focuser
https://www.firstlig...refractors.html
It seems to be the only one currently stocked by anyone and is a major upgrade over the stock one.
Only one left at the time of this posting.
Mine has been shipped, I await its arrival.

Sorry for showing off my little Vixen again, but I just discovered what they mean by "photo-visual" and wanted to share ;D
As a complete astrophotography noob, I must say that I quite like their flip mirror. I was initially quite puzzled but now I think it's a worthy piece of kit, if for no other reason that it makes framing easy. You still need a good 2" diagonal for your visual sessions of course.

radiofm74,
Your photo of the Vixen with the white rings and handle on the CG4 is stunning. I love the look of it...so classy.

I am really enjoying my new AT102ED on AZ GTI Mount with RT90C Carbon Tripod.
I used to have the same setup, but with a Berlebach Report tripod. Nice!

Loving that 102 with the blue decals, and I see you also use a UA mount, nice! I need that awesome tray!
Yeah, I wish that UA was still in business. This is my favorite manual mount for smaller refractors (80mm f/6 to 102mm f/8), and I’ll usually use a DM6 for anything significantly larger.

IMO, one of my prettiest combos -- blacks, grays, & touches of silver:
C102 Restore S21 - Meade SF TALL (LS Full).jpg
1980s Celestron (Vixen) C102 + Meade StarFinder + 5' Pedestal
Pretty to look at as well as through.

Agreed!
Those old Meade mounts are really rather good, being well damped IME.
Hint: Adding chains from the top of each foot to the middle of the pier tube with turnbuckles for adjustment, will dampen the pier considerably.
