I'm having an issue with the saddle clamps on my CEM40.

I now know what the issue is, and what fix will be required.

The mount is still perfectly usable, but not quite as it should be.

I'm based in the UK and my emails to iOptron tech support have been responded to by iOptron US.

It's taken several emails between us to home in on exactly what the issue is, and what fix is needed.

Point of this email is some feedback for the US support guys John & Kevin - they have been super helpful, always got back within 24 hrs.

I'll post more in a couple of weeks when I've sourced & fitted some spares.

That is good to hear.

I broke my reticle in my polarscope once...by squeezing the screws just a tad too much. The manual warns for that...

Within 14 days i had a new recticle , all the way from the US...

Its perfectly safe to tell us what the problem is and the suggested potential fix now.

If additional actions or corrections are needed after the initial fix, again its O.K. to publish an update.

Might help other CN users who are experiencing the same issue...
