I finally found the drawing OTI sent me. See attached. This could "save" someone whos pin breaks at its narrow point.

Pretty awesome. I know the guys at Davro would send out this drawing with every replacement pinion. Its good to note the bevel in the grove walls and the fact that you may have to make the grove narrower depending how much your disks are worn.

 Here is  a link to  how I repaired mine. It shows the redesigned shaft  from Quantum with a much thicker head to reduce the chance that it breaks off and that is how I machined mine.
