Hello moon friends,
this evening I was able to observe the moon again with initially very good air conditions. Before that I could see the "E" star in the Orion Trapezium in this calm air, towards the end of the drawing the air became more and more lousy. I was also fortunate enough to see the star 67 Tau occultation at the dark edge, with 65 Tau a little further away in the north, but not occulted. The occultaion took place between Philolaus and Mouchez, 67 Tau had sort of specified the lunar region in the far north. I percieved the occultation at 20.34.31 UTC (my coordinates =51° N 7,6° E). After more than 1 hour, my concentration also decreased, especially since the air became restless.
Thanks for watching and clear skies, Jens
