i READ HERE  some  time ago  a post on stabilisation of  binocular

 

but  not able  to  find it

 

the end  of  post is a solution about  use a hard disk  gyroscope effect 

 

that  work great

 

but 

I  put some better solution

 

I  remouve the  reading  mecanish  and  remouve also  all the spacer  betting  the  disk 

 

and  there  is  the good new

 

I  put  6  disk from  vintage  hd  

 

now  I have the best  gyro effect  of  my life

 

 

take care  to hold  the  disk assembly fermly  because  the gyro effect  is 

more then  x5 

 

put  it  onther  you favoeit  binocular 

 

and enjoy

I have tried using a gyro on binoculars before with very little success. It does stabilize it a little, but not enough to be worth the effort on anything with more than maybe 6x magnification. Of course, my tests were done on the night sky, which is a bit more demanding than your average hand held camera applications.

the  best  hARD  DISK  IS  THE SCUSI  TYPE  VERY HIGT  

ABUT  IF  YOU  FIND ONE  OF 5 INCH  TYPE  ABOUT 40MEG  A VINTAGE  ONE 

 

YOU HAVE  THE GREAT  GYRO EFFET

I do not said    it is the 7200 rpm  the best 

 

now  I try to put a picture you can see the  6  disk  pile up  and the  reading mecanis  remove 

 

this is a 3.5  inch disk 

 

I have also 5  inch  disk
