Once in awhile the sky cooperates with my life!  I spent hours this morning doing some needed tree trimming...and after a serious recovery nap, decided to take a look at the Sun, despite it being 3:30 PM local time...and surprisingly the seeing was average to above average at times.  So much for 90 - 120 minutes after sunrise lol.gif

 

Sketch completed at 2300 UT on 17 January (4:00 PM local time), with my 91mm refractor and Lunt Herschel Prism/Baader Solar Continuum filter - 8mm eyepiece so ~68X.

 

At least this nice afternoon seeing happened on full moon so I was able to get my astro fix during the daytimecool.gif
