Just wondering what might be the Best type of Mount for a RC 8 ?    

 

Deep space imaging with a 26 Lb Loaded RC 8 and a ASI1600mm

 

Would it be better with a RC 8 to do Guided Mount ? ( (NON EC MOUNT )  or Tracking Mount ( EC ENABLED MOUNT )

 

Is it better to GUIDE or TRACK with a RC 8 ?

At this focal length (and longer) closed-loop optical feedback (guiding) always wins.

Blind pointing (EC) does not correct several possible errors, though if your exposures are short this may not matter.

Thanks Very Much ! so if i Chose  NON EC MOUNT and i am Guiding ( Closed loop ) i have no need for EC ( encoders ) Mount

If you're talking about the iOptron mounds with encoders? Forget about it. Just guide and save yourself some money.
