After using a Celestron 70AZ and getting way too addicted to astronomy and astrophotography, I decided to upgrade to a WO Z73 and an iOptron SmartEQ Pro+ mount. Even though I have a lot of stuff to sort out, I am super happy with the results of just 1h of imaging

Nice image, especially for only 1 hour! (Orion is forgiving in this way though, so be prepared to have to spend longer on targets that aren't so bright). I have a Z73 as well; the focuser is a bit fiddly on mine but the optics are superb for a $700 scope. Once I go mono I may decide to upgrade it to a triplet, but if the results are good with the Z73, I may just upgrade the focuser on it. I don't do a lot of widefield work, so I may have a hard time plunking down for a triplet knowing it won't get a ton of use.

It is addictive isn't it? Welcome to the hobby! You can bring out a lot more nebulosity by stretching your image further.

It sure is a kick, isn't it? Coincidentally I just ran across my first-light images from my SV70t -- and it was M42 as well.
