Have you ever tracked a DSO unguided with your EQ6R and still got acceptable results? How many seconds? What OTA and camera?

Yes,

Mount: Older Orion Atlas EQ-G mount (aka SW EQ6).

20 @ 120 seconds

Scope: ST80 doublet

Camera: QHY8L CCD

I was able to process out the blue/violet halos from the doublet.

You can look at the original image in asrobin to see it with the blue halos.

That’s impressive for unguided 2 minute shots.

The scope is f/5 at fl 400mm

Because of the short focal length, tracking isn't real critical.
