New equipment. At this point I'm simply trying to get my ZWO ASI071 Pro working in TheSkyX Imaging edition. I'm able to successfully connect to it however when I try to capture a "test" image I keep getting images like the one in the attached screen shot. The other more common is white/black horizontal lines. The patterns seem to change when I adjust exposure time.

Does this look familiar to anyone?

Changing focus doesn't help (just changes the pattern)

Adjusting exposure time only changes pattern

How about changing gain, offset, usb traffic??  just guessing,    I use Sky X  for guiding and T Point mapping runs.   Sharcap for image capture.  I have a ZWO 178 mono.   Joe

Why are you binning at 3x3 and 4x4?

Set it to bin 1x1.

Unity gain is 90 with offset of 65 or gain 0 and offset 10.

It looks like what you would get if you are not connected to a telescope or lens.

If it is connected to the telescope, maybe you could check your back focus from the telescope (pdf link below) and consider the 071 has 17.5mm of back focus from the edge of the unit to add into the calculation - https://astronomy-im...ct/asi071mc-pro

https://www.stellarv...T-R_manual.pdf

Good luck.
