Hi there, I thought this could be interesting for ASI and Sony users.

As the T2-SONY E-Mount adapter from ZWO isnĀ“t available anymore I decided to build my own.

The back-focus of my ASI 294MM is 6.5mm so the adapter length should be 11.5mm (back focus for E-Mount is 18mm).

I used a cheap extension tube set for Sony (about 15-20$) and the inner part of an Camera-T2 adapter.

Using a lathe it was easy to fit the t2 ring into the first part of the extension rings.

I also used the lathe to fit the filter into the T2 ring.
Thanks to the ultra thin STC 2" filters that was no problem.

Unfortunately most modern lenses use focus by wire, so without a Sony camera focusing is impossible.
I will use the adapter with a manual focus Samyang 135mm

Sweet. Thats beyond my ability. I don't know why they stopped making the adapter. Lot's of Sony lenses out there.
