Just create a new hotspot with the travel router plugged into the network ports. The logon with the app to that wifi network. See attached. Also, the USB SSD speeds up things compared to running Stellarmate OS on the SD card.

Got things going eventually last night, cloudy UK skies being the problem until now. After my previous experience I wasn't expecting much but everything went pretty well, the mount slewed to target well and astrometry was obtained probably 95% of the time. When I started stacking I was astonished just how quickly and vividly images appeared on my Ipad, there is obviously some fine tuning to be done.

The problem is that absolutely no images were saved. I have read the relevant sections of the online manual and it seemed to suggest that images are saved automatically. Luckily I took screenshots of each target but I would like to record an image just for record purposes. Be grateful for any ideas.

There is a button in the app that allows you to save the stacked image. If you want to save the individual subs then you must start a sequence and not just press the button to begin live stacking. If I remember correctly after you start the sequence and then go start live stacking, it stacks using the images taken by the sequencer.

Thanks for that, I found that I needed to change the privacy settings on my Ipad to allow access to my photos. I have found a clunky way to download some images and view them on my pc but they are not the final stacked image, more work is needed!

Here is one example:

The save button has a floppy disk icon on it. I used it on android though, iOS may be different.

Just realized, a month late, that the stellarmate app on android now supports histogram adjustments.

A much needed feature! Can anybody here who has an active stellarmate setup comment on how it works? I sold my rpi setup. But this feature may tempt me to try stellarmate x os on my mini PC.

The new Raspberry Pi5 has been announced here in UK, would the Stellarmate OS be compatible with this?
