Is a Swift 10X50 a good pair of Binoculars?

Swift 10X50 Binoculars. Are they pretty good? Any good? Garbage? I have 0 knowledge in binoculars so I was just wondering. Thanks for clicking, reading, and responding.

Slickmm,

The "Cougar" model you found in your house is NOT the same model as the Kestrel.

I wrote a review of the Kestrel which you can find here in the "mini-reviews" section.

There are several 10 x 50s bearing the Swift legend -some better than others --but none better than the Audubon range, which is quite varied in itself.

Most of them are quite good to very good for daytime use.

None I've seen are excellent for astronomy.

Hope this helps , Kenny.
