from Goodwill. It was missing the dust cover and the 20x EP (which I wouldn't have used anyway as this scope is intended to use one of my cameras). Bought it to look for small micro-fossils (less than a mm, so I don't have to change barlows on my stereo scope). First light was good and for a total cost of $23 (inc. shipping and handling).
Will post some images when I find something. For a $90 microscope I am impressed with its images (the EP's are ok but not great) and build.
Just a shot to see if it would work with the camera and it's 10x objective (this is from the 50" TV as the EP)
