I decided to have another run at processing my data for M 101 from a few nights ago.
I thought I could pull out more detail.
I’m happier with THIS version of the image.
Just shows that the same data can produce very different images, depending on how you process it.

 

M 101, The Pinwheel Galaxy.

Orion Xtg10 goto Alt/Azimuth telescope
ZWO 178 MC camera
ZWO EAF focuser
1000x5 second subs for each image
Captured in NINA
Processed in PixInsight, Photo Shop, and Topaz
