Hello.

 

I bought an Original Celestron Fastar - C8 for EAA. It looks like the one in attached image. This model got an 1.25" eyepiece holder. That can be unscrewed to expose a male T2 adapter to screw the camera.

 

I wanted to know the backfocus distance of Original Celestron Fastar for C8 (either from the top of that 1.25" adapter or T2 threads.

If there is any sort of documents like manual, please share with me.

Moving from EAA to Cats & Casses for a potentially better fit.

All I could find was this.

Possible contacts: Celestron still has the Fastar mentioned on their website. Starizona- they worked off the Fastar.

Company7 also has a nice online library, but not much on the Fastar, they might know.
