Mewlon 250 finder?

Has anyone added a second finder to a Mewlon 250 with success? Any tips?

HERE is a link to a photo of one. I believe you can add Synta finder shoes where the screws are to attach the back plate to the OTA.  I believe some have added rings to the OTA these would also accommodate finder shoes.

That looks like it really could work! My Mewlon is a 2004 so everything should be nearly identical.

I did this with my Mewlon 180

 

Perhaps I have figured a way to put a red dot on my Mewlon 180 C in a non-invasive way. This is a Butler Creek rifle scope flip open cap. Or at least the body of it with cap removed. To this I used adhesive to secure a Tele Vue red dot dovetail base and used the drift pin that held the cap in place pus a small cable tie to reinforce it. hopefully it will work well albeit rather ugly. But it just slides on and off the Tak 6x30 finder
