I waited patiently for the clouds to part at around mid-eclipse to start taking pics from my backyard in Southern Pennsylvania.   I took the pics with an ST-80 refractor mounted on a tripod with a Canon77D at prime focus.  The pic during totality was 1 second at ISO 800 and shows the orange colored moon. The second pic after totality shows the retreating and clearly defined shadow of the Earth.

I spent the evening out in my observatory, (near Pittsburgh), doing both visual and video observing.

Here’s a capture. (using my 80mm Kson f6.3 Refractor & ZWO ASI294MC camera & L-Pro filter, Exp = 25 seconds, Gain = 25 of 500, Brightness = 50%.)

Here's my report on the celestial event:   http://www.stellar-j...nar Eclipse.pdf

Here’s a video from the AllSky camera: https://youtu.be/PemBKjK1R-c
A video from my 80mm f6.3 refractor: https://youtu.be/pF_pEiIalVg
Another from the refractor of a faint star being occulted: https://youtu.be/-pGA1cl5dJc
And finally, a combined video that I had a little fun with: https://youtu.be/tA_kSNuKfbs
(its a little jumpy from video artifacts that the program I used introduced that I am having trouble getting rid of, will probably remake this)
