Last night, in the heat and humidity, I got to try my new ASI 533MC-Pro. Using my trusty old, Televue Pronto, with an L-Pro Filter, Guidescope and guide camera, and the game changer, the ASIAIR Pro. I cooled the 533MC-Pro to -5C and acquired 3 hours of data (60 three minute subs). I used flats, dark flats and dark frames for processing. It was stacked in AstroPixel Processor, then stretched in Siril, final processing was done with GIMP.
I may have a light leak in the imaging train, as there were some strange artifacts. But, I'm pleased with the first image from this camera.
Here's the full resolution image on AstroBin.
