If I were in Philly, I'd be on that like a duck on a June bug!

I have owned two but am now down to one. That one has a lot of nice original goodies with it.

That looks like one of those “I regret I never bought it” scopes. It’s beautiful!

Well the Brandon can’t trump the C102 Fluorite …if it was an either/or but not both, you chose wisely. But it was quite a well put together kit that someone could jump right into and have quite a bit for the coin.

I like the 2" Dakin Barlow and Diagonal on the list.  Won't know the quality of the optics till under stars unless you have a portable DPAC setup (nice to have if you're going to look at it) so that is the only question on this scope.  Otherwise the price seems fair for a very complete setup.

Yes, it is all the original accessories that makes this particular scope a collector's dream. Very, very rare!!

I wish someone here would go for it. I would if I didn’t have my beloved TV Genesis SDF.

I’m glad it didn’t see this before I drove down from NY on Sunday. A quick stop in the Philly area would have been possible, and this would be hard to resist.

Great scope!  Mine came with the alt-az mount...no viewfinder...48 mm Brandon EP.  Had it out on my G-11 just the other night checking out globs and open clusters.

It has the look/style and build quality of the good refractors from the 1960s and already shows a glimpse of what the future would look like from that time on...

For me it is a collector's item and would have one for a long time. Unfortunately it was too complex (pre internet) at the time to bring such an instrument to this side of the ocean...
