Ok I currently have a 9.25 edge, a celestron C8  with the version 3 hyperstar,  and a WO gt81

The cameras I have are the asi 294mc and the asi 1600mm with filter wheel and looking to get a camera to use with the c8 hyperstar preferably reasonably inexpensive any advice ?   I have been looking at the 533 or the 183zwo or QHY

And why not just use your ASI 294MC? Or 1600 without filter wheel (but with filter drawer)...

Then 533 seems to be reasonable (no expensive) choice: almost perfect sampling, no amp glow, overall low noise.... Maybe awkward square format to someone, but you'll get used to it.

The 183 would have an advantage with the small pixels, but it's not the easiest camera to handle (needs accurate calibration data) and is last generation technology - which doesn't mean it's bad, just that you can get better now:  The 533 is much easier with no amp glow, low dark rate,  and low read noise.  The FOV is a bit smaller, and pixels are larger.  The 183 might also make a nice planetary camera on the 9.25.

Take it a camera at a time Tim. Set up the 294mc first get your feet wet. Then jump in later.
