Anyone know of a source for replacing guide scope ring screws? Seems like they should be easy to source but I have looked and looked.

I took one of my guide scope screws to the hardware store and found some bolts with the same diameter and thread, and appropriate length shaft. Only cost a couple dollars; I was also able to get them in stainless steel. The hex heads of the bolts provide better grip than the knurled heads of the thumbscrews anyways.

Both Home Depot and Lowes have a ‘Specialty Screw’ section that carries a lot of metric screws as well as oddball SAE screws. I’ve managed to find a lot of the screws and nuts I need there
My local Ace Hardware has been helpful, too.
Items I haven’t found at any of those places I’ve been able to order via Amazon.

Chinese/european/russian rings will be metric, UK ones UNC, US ... SAE or UNC.

Another source with just about anything - including nylon tipped or nylon screws is www.accu.co.uk.

The Lossmandy screws look really nice. I'll keep those in mind.
