Hello Everyone.

Here is a collection of images from my spectroheliography session of 23 June. The montage shows three chromospheres (hydrogen, calcium and helium) in four lights: Ca H (396.85 nm), H beta (486.13 nm), He D3 (587.56 nm) and H alpha (656.28 nm). These are the Fraunhofer H, F, D3 and C lines respectively.

Cheers.
Peter

Awesome! You can see the filaments on your Calcium on the disc which is just superb. Really dig that Helium too!

Very best,

That's very cool, being able to compare all four wavelengths like that!

Very intereresting, Peter!  Especially Helium D3!

What must be the FWHM of the etalon to deliver such a contrasty images in He D3 ?

Have you ever tried the Ca II I  at 8542,1A ?

Looking for more such pictures.

Valery
