The seeing was average at best this morning, so I gave the Mewlon 180c another whirl. Most of my .avi's were garbage though with a lot of "onion skinning" around the edges of the planet, but this one came out somewhat decent considering the wavy atmosphere. It got much worse right before daybreak.

The final image is a stack of 2,080 frames out of 36,731, so a very small percentage made the cut.

Processed in Autostakkert and Registax.

Scope: Tak Mewlon 180c

Camera: ZWO178MC at native f/12

Mount: Tak EM-10

Time of capture: 5:09 AM

Jupiter elevation: Approx 40 degrees

I'm going to give the Sky-90 a try this coming morning with the 1.6x Extender Q or 3x Vari-Extender. I'll try them both out. I recently collimated the scope and it appears to be very sharp. We shall see!

Thanks again for having a look!

And one of Saturn too. I had to downsize it to help alleviate some of the noise/graininess. Not the best, but I've captured far worse so I'll take it!

This one was captured with a Celestron NexImage 5 camera.

Very sharp, that image of Jupiter. Excellent capture. Saturn isn't half bad either.

Thank you for sharing!
