I would buy that all day long but they are always in Cali and shipping would cost as much as the scope and then you a take a chance it will be broken by the time ya get it.

Looks like a Meade 826 OTA.  Might be a good deal for someone local: https://shopgoodwill.../item/149012219

I've Istar 6f15 objective for a planned but long delayed scope. The SW 150ED may cause more delay.

Here’s a very nice Nikon 6.5cm ED setup.

It is a very nice set up but I am not certain it is the ED apochromat model.  ED is likely standing for effective diameter.  Similar to GOTO telescopes. The 6.5cm model was also available in a achromat.  I always thought the apo version had a gold ring around the tube by the dew shield.  Also no markings on the lens cell.

Never the less it is a very nice set up and these Nikon achromats are exceptional.

I agree. Nikon was very cryptic about the ED version vs the standard version of this scope with the only difference being the color of the ring. The standard version I owned was superb. Not sure how much difference there would be with the ED version. The price seems to be quite reasonable even if it's "only the standard version", especially with all the extras. If you want to see the scope and mount in action here's my video:

A 60mm Unitron w/ EQ mount in an estate auction in Morgan Hill, CA, through HiBid.com, currently $85 with less than 3 hours to go. Pick-up only. Rats.

I bid and won last night and picked up today, also won the eyepieces and rotator. This scope is a 75mm with a 60mm X 700 guide scope and a very old GEM mount. Paid $265 cash plus auction  markup and Ca. tax.  Also bought a Zoomar F15, reflector with a glass front to hold the secondary. So far I have not found any information on this scope, may be camera lens?

I will post some photos later.

Rich
