While I understand one should not update firmware unless there is a known bug, iOptron has posted an update to the AZ Mount Pro Hand Controller to: (V220119).

Not much info provided and I did do it without any hiccups.

Description of the update from their web site:

V20220119 Firmware upgrade for hand controller
Changes:
 Changed AZ Mount Pro auto-calibration selection menu. Now need press ENTER to start auto
calibration
 This version is needed for iOptron Commander 5.9.x.x

I do suspect a few minor(?) bugs may also have been fixed but hey, ya never know...

PS: Also a new iOptron Commander and ASCOM Driver

Commander and ASCOM Driver Installer (V5.9.0.2, March 24, 2022) is also available.

Yes.. I recently purchased a used azmp and did the firmware update.. it was smooth once I knew that I needed to switch off the mount before connecting the cable and launching firmware update utility.
