Seeing was exceptionally nice for spells this morning.

12-inch SCT, ASI224MC, hairdryer and a ton of patience

It really does pay to get out there, no matter how uninspiring the forecasts.

Thanks for looking,

Grant

Nice effort. Yes, it really does pay...one of my favorite sayings.

(Still do not like corrector plates though lol.giflol.giflol.gif)

Really nice detail in this image Grant! waytogo.gif waytogo.gif waytogo.gif  (but still a bit too much noise left in imo... ;) )

Nice one Grant! You are absolutely correct too, I'm typing this all bleary eyed, after staying up too late since the forecast was unpromising! I set my alarm anyway, 'cause you never know!

Steve

I set my alarm for 3:15 this morning. Glad I did, looks like I had another pretty good morning (maybe not as good as last week's, though). Just came in at 6:10am because the 'daylight hump' to the left of the histogram was becoming too objectionable. Plus Monday morning traffic on a nearby pair of highways plays havoc with the seeing in the direction of Jupiter at this time.
