Hi all,

These are my efforts of Jupiter and Saturn from 12th August, these are the best images I have ever taken so far so really happy with them compared to last year. The Jupiter I really like although its a shame I couldn't get a little more detail, Saturn I kinda like. Just looking for tips to improve. Think my Saturn colours don't look quite right, and is there any way I can get rid of that blue fringing round the rings on Saturn, I can't remove it with colour balance.

Here is Saturn method I did

Equipment

Celestron AstoFi 5" telescope

ZWO ASI120MC camera

Mead 2x Barlow

Saturn

14,000 frames (best 3,500 frames used)

Stacked in Autostakkert

44 AP's size 24 min bright 20

Normalized stack 70%

Sharpened (Blend raw or 65%)

RGB align

Registax

Histogram adjustment

RGB align

Autobalance

Wavelets

Thanks in advance

Great images! The blue fringing is barely noticeable. Maybe it's an artifact from the RGB alignment? I saw similar issues when I used my ED80 for planetary. Never figured it out though.
