Musk should have put mirrors on the Starlinks to bounce sunlight away from Earth.  He could've claimed to help ward off global warming.

Meanwhile "One SpaceX Rocket Launch Produces the Equivalent of 395 Transatlantic Flights worth of CO2 Emissions" and injects an unknown number of tons of "black particles being deposited into the stratosphere and then they're staying in the stratosphere for something like three or four years" and when they de-orbit 23 a day as planned "six tonnes, of aluminum mostly, that will be added to the upper atmosphere every single day".

His investors in his only publicly traded company have multiplied their investments by over 20X in 3 years and over 100X in only 10 years. SpaceX is only privately traded but his investors there have also multiplied the value of thier investments in a way that no investor could complain.

And that's because he keeps offering people products and services they want, at compelling prices.

There are a lot of people turned off by how successful Musk is. I would say he's already and unquestionably the most important industrialist of the 21st century. That kind of success is always going to bring the haters out.
