Here is a 1960s/70s Carton #619-A instruction booklet. Does anyone want this one?

attachicon.gif IMG_5472_edited-1.jpg

Looks like it could be compatible with my 60 X 910mm Monolux COC Carlton approx 1970. I have black metal focus knobs.

What do you think?

It's basically the same scope and instructions.

My Swift Aerolite (Carton) came with same instructions but with a blue cover.

Okay guys and gals, I’ve got one more little scope that I need to re-home. This is a Vixen A70LF, 70MM f/12.9 900mm focal length with a GSO straight through finder. Also has the rings and dovetail bracket. I’ve had this listed here in the classifieds for over a month without a nibble. This a very nice scope that I have enjoyed for many years , but I’m down sizing so I’m happy to let it go to a new home for the cost of shipping.  Maybe someone knows a young person starting out that may find this as a blessing.  I’ll be off line for the rest of this evening, but will check back in tomorrow morning.

Peace,

Ronny

So far, these free items have already been spoken for:

1. b. crist miniatures (already in the mail), 2. Criterion foldout showing eyepiece turret & objective lenses (unbelievably, I just discovered that I have TWO identical copies of this one), and 3. Carton Optical Co. instruction booklet.

I hope to get several lists and other posts going soon.

Diane

All items are now in the mail and are on their way. I decided to arbitrarily add 4 or 5 additional pieces of telescope literature to envelopes 2 and 3 only as extra padding. Please enjoy the free extra surprise catalogues and owner manuals!

Oregon Stargazers gift package arrived today with special gift bonus padding that are exciting.waytogo.gif

The Carton Instruction book has my scope & I will see if I can figure out how to set up the equatorial mount better.

There was a University Optics Catalog too that has my 8.4-21mm zoom in it which was such a pleasant surprise.

Wish we could get those 1970 & pre prices! cool.gif

I've had this GOTO beginners kit for quite a while and never assembled it. It can be yours now for free, including shipping in the USA.

40mmX1000mm. Owner provides the tube (I never got one!).

The only issue is the disintegrating box. Instructions are included.

PM me if you want it.20250307_081201_resized.jpg 20250307_081219_resized.jpg
