Thanks for that, Tom (and Tom!).

Always interesting to read the inside story about people and companies we've grown to know and enjoy.

Great stuff! :bow: :waytogo: :ubetcha:

Very nice, Tom (and TMB)! How fun it is to read about the folks who bring us our toys. :D

(Okay, fess up...am I the only one who didn't realize how young TMB is? For some reason, I thought he was older. :shrug: That means even more years of TMB-designed optical goodness ahead of us! :whee:)

Tom,

Your interviews with prominent optical manufacturers is the essence of why people like me "stay tuned" to CN.

Good job as always, sir.

Tom;
Fascinating article...I was surprised that Thomas would be giving an interview as I thought his health was still poor...does this mean he's fully recuperated.

Hi Tom,

I took a brief look at the list of the "Behind the Scenes" reports. It looks like you started this fairly recently. I had already read the ones with WO and Star Structures. Please keep them coming.

As to this report, thanks for writing your interview with Thomas. What I appreciate about him are his endeavors to design very high quality high end products for discriminating viewers but also products (like the Brick) that while maybe not up to the standards of the old TMB-APM line or the new Signature line will provide choice for those who otherwise would not be able to afford apo views. I also really like his sign-off quote.

Take care,

Thanks Nick.

Mark, these seem to average every couple of months - but there was a big break for a while there. The first one (WO) went up (IIRC) around September 2005.

It's sort of an alternate with Small Wonders. I've got some ideas for some other series I'd like to try as well, but well - there's only one of me.

:lol:

Tom,

Thank you for a excellent interview, well done on both sides of the table. Your questions were crafted to provide us with both an historical and philosophical perspective of a company and it's ownership. Really nice to see the human underpinnings of a great product!
