Hardware: Meade LX200 EMC-16, Pyxis LE, Astronomik L1, Siebert barlow, ZWO ADC, Player One Uranus-C
Software: Firecapture, Autostakkert, Astraimage, The Gimp.

 

Neptune & Triton capturing its pink colouration at capture scale. Alas no surface features visible.

Wonderful image. Wishful thinking, but I hoped to see the white clouds
(a la Hubble) on the disk, but coloration on a small Triton disk is amazing.

Any insights into what might be causing the square-ish appearance on the moon? I recall that you had a Ganymede that showed that same square-ish appearance recently. Maybe a sharpening artifact? Or something about the alignment box size during stacking? Does it show up at all in the raw stacks?

That's just the cropping I used to pick it up from the other layer in this instance.
