With a little help and breaking the mount into pieces I was able to set up my rig with no trouble and it will stay set up all week if the weather prediction is correct!  Clouds scuttled most attempts at any animations (really wanted to get some of the floating proms!) but I did catch 15 minutes of AR3112 and a little activity on the NE limb (image rotated 90 degrees for viewing) before they totally blocked the sky.  Maybe more this afternoon if the sun doesn't go behind my roof!

Some additional captures from a bit later to highlight the floating proms

Floating prom with blackout disk (would have made a great animation if the clouds had cooperated!!)

Great captures Warren, I got to see that prom today finally visually, it's fantastic! Lots of great floaters out there off the limb too!

Very best,

More floaters in those images than in my eyes. Great set Warren.

With a little help and breaking the mount into pieces I was able to set up my rig with no trouble and it will stay set up all week if the weather prediction is correct!

Great images and animation as per usual!

I'm hoping the weather forecast holds, I'm also in Ohio and it looks great!

I thought solar would be great to get into since it won't wreck what little bit of sleep I get, but I didn't realize just how little time I'd get to do it. In a couple months I've only got to try on 3 or 4 days. Finishing up a 72hr work week tonight. Between work and responsibilities I don't always have even a day per week for solar, and when I do it ends up being cloudy! I have the next 3 days off. Well Monday may or may not count, since I had to work nights this weekend I usually sleep in the morning when the views are good. But I may try and stay up for a few hours to get some solar work done. But Tues & Wed I'll try for sure to be out!
