I've just added a page on mounting binoculars to my web site:
http://astunit.com/t...s/binomount.htm

Comments, complaints, suggestions, requests to add (or delete)links, etc. gratefully received.

Very nice Stephen. I gave it a once over and thought it was fine. I'll give your website a closer inspection tonight when I have more time.

Nice work Stephen. The information should answer every basic question anyone has on bino mounts. The photos are especially helpful. Perhaps you might add a note/photo about the addition of a red dot finder to a bino mount.

Cheers, Nick

Thanks, Nick, for the kind words.

I'll try to put a photo of the finder mounting up soon. For the moment, it's just stuck on with double-sided-sticky foam pads. It'll probably stay that way until it falls off and I am forced to do something. :)
