Hi all,

Hope you are all well.

Yesterday night I was glad to take the last photo of Mars that was missing to complete its full map during this opposition period. :-)

The seeing was poor once more (we could see almost no details on Jupiter earlier...), but as discussed in a previous post, Mars is very resilient in bad seeing, especially in my latitude, where we have it at 77 degrees of altitude in the middle of the night!

I will wait for one, two or three more captures in the next 10 days or so, in order to further improve some parts of the map before presenting it to you. Anyway, there is a lot of work needed to equalize brightness, colour and saturation in the different captures that make the map.

This was the result from yesterday. Not perfect, but good enough to see many details and above all to fill the gap that I had in the map. :-)

Best wishes,

Alexandros
