Has anyone ever used these things? I'm talking about a port on the mount that you supposed to connect your DSLR and take photos. I'm just curious, because I don't think I ever seen a topic talking about it.

I just looked it up, it is for a cameras remote control. What camera, does not say. would have to read deeper.
I don't have that mount, I have a Paramount ME.

The reason I was looking at it and thought about using it, in perhaps situations when the camera isn't compatible with any of the photo apps on windows or linux.
Just needs a typical remote cable connected to the camera. With the Green Swamp Server telescope control can set up loops of whatever second exposures. Great for people with non-compatible cameras.
