Hey everyone, I am deeply confused on how to combine multiple people’s stacks together from a 8 person collaboration.

We all targeted M45, though we have varying focal lengths, resolutions, binnings, s/n ratios, field curvature and others. I tried combining some stacks together with star align then wbpp, though it failed miserably. The stars were horrid with and other issues.

This is the closest thing I could find explaining the issues.

Does anyone have past experience, or a possible detailed tutorial on how I could fix these problems?

Many Thanks!

Try AstroPixelProcessor. It is really made for this kind of stuff.
