That’s a marvelous M42!
Great job on both the faint nebulosity and the core. Did you shoot multiple exposures lengths? What processing technique did you use to achieve this wonderful HDR result?

I shot 2 seconds. 60 seconds and 180 seconds. Layered them together in Photoshop. I am not skilled at HDR in Pixinsight yet.
