Small but decent seeing with the 11" f/5.7 and 5x Powermate with the 224MC camera.

Great images Mike. IMHO that is almost certainly dust in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s rather odd but nobody seems to be interested!

Paul, current ALPO images are indicative of clouds forming over the SPC, looking very bright in the Blue channel, so it’s unlikely to be dust.

Thanks Mark. I should have investigated further, but just on the face of it, the tone and diffusness together with perhaps a spread eastwards all looked like dust to me, but I guess the blue data clinches it
