Since you already have holes for the feet, a simple ratchet strap in the center would anchor the tripod quite effectively.

The way my buggy and tripod is configured, ratchet strap is not feasible.

That looks very secure John.

Ok here is mine , i built for a member ,
the tips sit in pockets, preventing any movement.
pulls equally on all three feet/ legs equally , this keeps the tripod absolutely secure to the buggy .
One strap, if you need to tear down for transport , QUICK, setup...Ditto.
No marring of the legs , no slipping . And more secure
the buggy for my C14 being the largest .

I have a big 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood spreader / shelf right above the bottom leg extension mechanism on my Atlas tripod.. No way to put a tie there. The spreader is only about 12 inches off the ground (if the tripod was sitting on the ground).

Heres an atlas on a buggy i built that is adapted to hold many different tripods , different sizes , and pitch .
The strap, i have used attached to the mount , and tried at spreaded .. i prefer the mount . A wrap around loop crossed on itself and hooked to the base .
I did not use the spreader , as the tripod sits in SOCKETS in buggy , unable to move oor shift . The spreaded not needed . One less piece to haul around .
