I would like to replace this ball head plate with a vixen plate. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

I think you want a Vixen saddle, or clamp.  We call the dovetail shaped part on the telescope a plate, bar, or rail.

You need to remove that center bolt and measure it, and then get a saddle or clamp with a matching hole.

What is it you want to mount on it? Maybe putting an Arca Swiss / Vixen rail on whatever it is would be an option? https://williamoptic...l/dsd-110-plate

My new askar 200 has a vixen shoe and my t7i i usually use arca swiss.  I want to use my ballhead with the askar 200 so I thought I could remove the top plate and replace the ballhead top with a vixen dovetail.  I already have a small vixen rail that I can put on my camera when using my lighter tokina 11-16mm lens (no collar).  This way I could standardize and not "plate stack" (from vixen to arca) on the askar 200.
