I am simply stunned by your images!! I will have to study this article and associated links in greater detail. Fantastic work, really.
Do you have suggestions on using your smartphone for solar (WL or Ha) and planetary/lunar imaging?

Amazing! I remember using NVGs when I was in the Army with their greenish colored very grainy images. I had no idea they have advanced this far.
Are they still mono-colored images or is that the camera you are using?

Thanks. The nv is still mono (but normally white phosphor rather than green now)

Hi Gary,
NV doesn't work for solar, so there aren't any links in the NV forum. BUT, if you do a search for a listing of of threads with the "Smartphone AP" tag, you will find several threads started by those who take solar photos using a smartphone. I just pulled up a search which lists all Smartphone AP tags found here: https://www.cloudyni.../Smartphone AP/
If you scan through this list, you will find several white light or prominence photos taken by smartphones.

Really beautiful images. They have a kind of a spooky quality to them, especially the the first few which look like they have a green tint but you say...
Thanks. The nv is still mono (but normally white phosphor rather than green now)
Maybe frivolous but it might be nice to tint them green ever so slightly in Lightroom or Photoshop for artistic taste in the way that some people tint B&W photos with sepia?
I've never looked through NVDs so please excuse my ignorance but how do these photos compare to what you see visually through the NVD? Thanks for sharing the images!
