I'm going to Australia next month to view and hopefully photograph the total solar eclipse (April 20th, 2023).
I'd like to capture as many sub-exposures as possible during the 63 seconds of totality. But I ran some tests with an ASIAIR+ and a couple of different ZWO cameras and found it could only capture seven or eight frames in that time. I've tried video mode, but that doesn't allow me to shoot a range of exposure times (from .0005 to 1.0 seconds).
What software or hardware would allow me to capture lots of subs in a short time frame?
thanks,
Michael
