I am in early planning to set up remote imaging. I have no experience with remote imaging and am concerned that I not select a mount that is difficult to set up and operate remotely. I've been told most of the premium mounts will work. I would appreciate any guidance or comments on selected a mount that I will not regret. I am looking at a 10Micron GM2000, a Fornax 150, and a Paramount MX. I am very open to considering other mounts if they would be the best choice.

Thank  You

Some potential questions to help us think about this...

1. Is this a permanent setup, e.g., in an observatory?

2. What type of imaging: DSOs, planetary, etc?

3. What type of telescope, e.g., focal length, weight?

4. Do you have a budget in mind?

5. Do you need something right away or could you wait a few years?
